Health Care Reform is wanted by nearly everyone in the United States the trouble is no one wants to pay for it. This is indicative of a population that is on the verge of an economic breakdown. Based on economic data from the past 50 years, this country seems destined for what is called the “shock doctrine.” I will never forget the images on my TV screen on the fateful day of September 11, 2001. It was morning on the west coast, and I awoke to see the first tower smoldering. While my eyes were fixed on this horrible sight, to my disbelief, a plane hit the second tower. And then the final blow of the day when each of the buildings fell to the ground. America was under attack, but somehow we have moved on from the devastation of 8 years ago to a mentality that existed the day before the terrorists declared war on us. Make a difference in the world by helping those in need in creative and useful ways. There are many people who are simply down on their luck and need random kindness to help restore their faith in life. Helping in little ways can do a lot for those who have nothing. Too many local public authorities make promises to their residents and visitors and yet don’t deliver them. They make their residents and visitors believe that one day they will provide the promised services but they never materialise, and in the meantime, those local public authorities fill up their coffers by charging for work in progress that is not taking place. Here is an example of a local public authority that has made millions of pounds sterling from motorcyclists by misleading them and making them believe that security devices to immobilise their bike while parked will be installed, when they had no intention whatsoever to install those security devices in the first place.
